One of the major activities of AIGA Safety Advisory Group is to share and discuss the information on accidents and incidents from the industry so that the appropriate learning is identified for initiating corrective and preventive measures. The information is also shared with member companies in the form of training packages at the end of each year.

AIGA Member companies also have been sharing the key accident statistics related to Personnel Injury and Product Transportation since 2002. This effort has provided an opportunity for trending the accident statistics not only for internal benchmarking and comparison but also to understand the improvement or deterioration in the safety performance over a longer time period.
